Creation and A Federal Court Judge!
A SHOCKER IN LOUISIANA!

In Louisiana, the State Legislature passed a bill, which allowed for a moderate disclaimer to be attached to the Biology books in the Public Schools. This disclaimer simply reminded students that the Theory of Evolution is open to question and should be tested/challenged; students should use their critical thinking skills before determining origins.

Guess what the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled? You guessed right, they struck it down. Face facts, hope, but never expect the Creation model to get out through the legislature or courts. Too many people’s purpose in life is to serve the role of a vulture waiting to pounce and devour any legal attempt for Creation to make in roads. Expect the worse.

If the fact that the courts repeatedly squash attempts for students to even question evolutionism angers you, and you want to make a difference, is there anything can you do?

Yes! Meet open minded college students face to face and enlighten them! We now have a team of about 5 that goes to the college campuses witnessing and you could make a tremendous difference in a student’s life! Many of these students are anxious for information on Creation vs. Evolution. Call 714 898-8331 if you are interested in joining us.

Listed below is a description of the court story:

COURT RULES AGAINST LOUISIANA SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR ENCOURAGING CRITICAL THINKING ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF LIFE

In a classic example of intolerant bigotry the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that a Louisiana school district could not encourage students to think critically about the origins of life. Claiming the Tangipahoa Parish School District was biased and promoting religious beliefs, a three-judge panel prevented the school district from presenting a disclaimer prior to the teaching of the theories of the origin of life and matter.

The disclaimer proposed by the Tangipahoa Parish Board of Education reads:

"It is hearby recognized by the Tangipahoa Parish Board of Education, that the lesson to be presented, regarding the origin of life and matter, is known as the Scientific Theory of Evolution and should be presented to inform students of the scientific concept and not intended to influence or dissuade the Biblical version of Creation or any other concept. It is further recognized by the Board of Education that it is the basic right and privilege of each student to form his/her own opinion or maintain beliefs taught by parents on this very important matter of the origin of life and matter. Students are urged to exercise critical thinking and gather all information possible and closely examine each alternative toward forming an opinion"

The court's, January 24th, decision found that this disclaimer was not sufficiently neutral and that it would advance religious beliefs.
