What is the absolute, most important tool in witnessing? For many years I thought it was knowledge. Knowledge is incredibly important, but it is not the most important. The most important "tool" is love. Ask yourself, do you really care about the person you are sharing with or are you trying to win a debate. I admit I was guilty of trying to win debates for years, but 1 Corinthians says we are clanging cymbals if we share without love.

Never have the attitude that the person you are talking to is a dummy, in need of your information. Have the attitude that you have a very important gift that they need to hear and you want to share it with them.
